The Mango Tree Restaurant

The Mango Tree Restaurant is situated at the House of Yesudas Hotel on Bastion Street. We’re right in the middle of Kochi Fort, which is an old and very busy part of Ernakulam. The pin code is 682001. If you’re looking for us, we’re quite close to the Santa Cruz Church, which is a big local landmark. Kochi Fort is full of old buildings and narrow streets. We spend our time here dealing with the humidity and the tourists. It’s a very different vibe from the rest of the city. We’ve been here for a while and we’ve seen the streets get more and more crowded. The House of Yesudas is a simple place, and we’re just a part of it. We don’t have any fancy mission statements. We just try to keep the tables clean and the food moving. It’s hard work, especially when it’s hot outside. We see people from all over the world walking past our door. Bastion Street has its own character. We’re just a small restaurant trying to do a decent job. We don’t have any polished corporate flyers. This is just how we talk. We open up in the morning and we don't leave until the work is done. If you find yourself near the Santa Cruz Church, you're pretty much right there.
