Shalimar Tourist Home

Our place, Shalimar Tourist Home, is located on Kalathiparambu Road in Kochi. It is very close to the South Railway Station. You can walk here in just a few minutes if you aren't carrying too much luggage. Being near the station means it is never really quiet around here. There are always people walking past and rickshaws honking. The building is a basic tourist home. It isn't a big hotel with a lobby or anything like that. We have rooms for people who need a place to sleep while they are visiting or just passing through the city. Usually, the people staying here are travelers looking for something straightforward. We keep the keys at the desk and someone is usually around. The street outside can get a bit crowded during the day. Kochi has that humid weather, so we try to keep things as comfortable as we can inside. It’s a plain setup. We have been here for some time now. You’ll see the sign from the road. Most guests just want to drop their bags and go see the sights or catch their next train. We aren't trying to be anything fancy. It’s just a house for tourists, like the name says. We spend our mornings checking people out and getting the rooms ready for whoever comes in on the afternoon trains. It’s a steady routine every day. We don't have much else to say.
