Richoos Family Restaurant

Richoos Family Restaurant is situated on SRM Road in Ernakulam North. We are right by the Varkees Super Market, so a lot of our customers are just people who finished their grocery shopping and realized they were too tired to cook dinner. The vibe here is pretty relaxed. We don't have fancy uniforms or anything like that. I’m usually around the front or helping out in the back when it gets crowded. Ernakulam can be very rainy, and on those days, the floor gets a bit muddy from people coming in with their umbrellas. We just keep a mop handy and get on with it. The kitchen is always busy with the sound of pans hitting the burners and the smell of whatever is being cooked that day. It’s a family-run kind of place, so you might see one of us sitting at a corner table doing accounts or just taking a break with a glass of tea. We have some regular families who have been coming since we opened, and it’s nice to see their kids growing up. It’s not a five-star place, just a simple restaurant where you can sit down and get a decent meal without any fuss. We just keep the lights on and the food coming out as fast as the kitchen can manage it. Even when it’s loud and the fans are buzzing, it feels like home.
