Real Thalassery Family Restaurant

Our restaurant is situated on T.A. Beerankunjnu Road in Ernakulam North. If you are heading that way, we are right by the Bharat Petrol Pump. It’s a handy location because people often stop to fuel up their cars and then realize they are hungry and walk over to us. Ernakulam is always moving, and being near the north side means we see a lot of people coming from the railway station or heading toward the city center. We specialize in Thalassery style food, which is what we have always made. The kitchen is always busy with the sound of pans and the smell of spices being fried. It’s a family-oriented place, so we have larger tables for groups who come in together. We don't have a lot of fancy uniforms or a polished corporate look. It’s more of a place where you can just come as you are and eat. The floor is tile, the lights are bright, and the staff is usually running around trying to keep up with the orders. Sometimes when it rains heavily, like it often does in Kerala, the shop gets a bit crowded with people ducking in to stay dry. We just keep serving and doing what we can to get the plates out. It is a noisy, lively spot that feels like a real part of the neighborhood, not some big chain. Every morning we open up and start the prep work all over again.
