Persian Durbar

If you are driving down the Kakkanad - Palarivattom Road in Ernakulam, you will find Persian Durbar. We are situated in Vazhakkala, right across from Y Tower. The area has changed quite a bit over the years with more buildings popping up, but we stay right here in the middle of it. Our day usually starts with the delivery trucks arriving and the kitchen staff getting the stoves going. It’s a lot of work to keep everything moving, and we don't always get it perfect, but we try. The dining area is simple and meant for people to just eat and go about their day. We don't have any big corporate office or anything like that. It’s just the owner and the workers making sure the food is ready when people come in hungry. Sometimes it gets really loud when the lunch crowd hits, especially with the traffic outside being what it is on this road. We have a lot of regulars from the 682021 zip code who stop by because they know where we are. We don't do much in the way of big promotions. We just keep the lights on and the kitchen running. It is a practical business. We focus on the basics like making sure the tables are wiped and the food is hot. That is pretty much the whole story of how we run things here in Vazhakkala. No big goals, just daily work and keeping the place open.
