My Kukoo

My Kukoo is located right at the Toll Junction in Edapally. We are in the Chakkappan Center on Pukkattupady Road. If you know where the Reliance Fresh is in Edapally, we are very close to that. It’s a very busy intersection, so there is always a lot of noise and movement outside our door. We’ve been here in Ernakulam for a few years now. The shop is small and we don't have a lot of room for big crowds, but we make it work. Most of our days are spent preparing the snacks and food that people like to grab on their way home. The kitchen gets quite warm, especially in the afternoons, but the staff just keeps going. We aren't a big corporation with fancy offices. It’s just a few of us working behind the counter. Sometimes we get a bit overwhelmed when the evening rush starts and everyone wants their order at the same time. We don't have a fancy website or a social media person. We just rely on the people living nearby in Ernakulam to stop by. The floor gets a bit messy during the rainy season, but we try to keep up with the cleaning. We serve the kind of stuff we would eat at home. It’s simple, practical food for people who are busy. We don’t have any grand vision. We just want to keep the shop going and serve the neighborhood. It’s a lot of work but it’s our living.
