Mubaraq Restaurant

We have been here on Akg Road in Kaloor for quite some time now. Our place is right opposite the CBI Court, which means we see a lot of people coming and going all day long. Ernakulam is always busy, but this little corner has its own rhythm. We start early in the morning, getting the kitchen ready before the sun gets too high. There is a lot of traffic on the road outside, and sometimes the noise comes right in through the door. We have a few tables where people sit down to eat their lunch quickly before heading back to work or the court. It is not a fancy place with expensive decorations. We just keep things simple and functional. The staff knows most of the people who work nearby, so there is usually some talking and joking around. We spend a lot of time cleaning up after the rush and making sure everything is where it should be. Sometimes the fans are a bit loud, and the floor gets a little worn out from all the feet walking over it. We don't really do any big advertisements or anything like that. People just know we are here because they pass by every day. When the rain comes down hard in Kaloor, everyone crowds inside to stay dry for a bit. It is just a regular part of the neighborhood, and we are happy to be a small part of the daily life here on Akg Road.
