Mirchi Masala Restaurant

We've been here on T.D Road for a bit. It’s right near the T.D Temple. People usually find us when they’re out doing errands or coming from work. It’s not a fancy place, just tables and chairs and good food. We mostly do those spicy dishes that people in Ernakulam like. Sometimes it gets a bit loud when the lunch rush starts, but that's just how it is. My cousins and I run the front and the kitchen. We don't really do big advertisements. Most people just walk in because they smell the masala cooking from the street. If you are near Nanda Inn, you'll see our sign. It's a busy part of town so parking can be a bit tricky, but folks manage. We try to keep things simple. The menu hasn't changed much over the years because people keep asking for the same things. We use the local markets for our vegetables every morning. It's a lot of work getting everything ready before the doors open at noon. Sometimes we run out of certain items by evening, but we try to cook enough. We just want to serve a decent meal to anyone who stops by. It’s a plain place, nothing too special to look at, but the food is what matters to us. We’re usually here until late at night cleaning up. That's about it really for our small spot.
