LE Malabar Restaurant

The restaurant sits inside the Pearl Continental Hotel over on S R M Road. If you know Ernakulam North, you know how busy Lissie Junction gets during the day. We spend most of our time here just getting things ready before the lunch rush starts. It is not a quiet place, especially with the traffic outside, but that is just how things are in this part of town. The staff usually gets in early to start on the prep work in the kitchen. We see a lot of people coming through the hotel, some staying there and others just stopping by because they are in the neighborhood. Ernakulam - 682018 is a hectic area to work in, but we have been at this spot for a while now. The tables are set up the same way every morning. We do not really do anything fancy with the decor, just keep it clean and ready for whoever walks in. Sometimes the junction gets so backed up that people come in just to wait out the traffic. It is a local spot where you can see the city moving right outside the windows. We deal with the usual daily stuff, like deliveries coming in the back and making sure the floors are swept. It is a lot of work to keep a place like LE Malabar Restaurant running in such a busy part of Ernakulam North, but it is what we do every single day without fail.
