Kottavathil Restaurant

Our restaurant is right at Statue Junction in Tripunithura. If you know the area, you know how busy that junction can be. We’ve been here for a good amount of time, seeing the buses and cars go by all day. Our address is 682301, and we are pretty easy to spot if you are walking around the center. It’s not a big place, just enough tables for the locals and people passing through. We don't have a fancy menu with things you can't pronounce. It’s just the food we know how to make well. The kitchen is right in the back, and you can usually hear the pans clanking. We don't use any corporate speak here. We just serve the food and hope you like it enough to come back. Some days are very busy, especially during lunch, and we all have to pitch in to clear the tables. We keep the place as clean as we can. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so you might see the same faces every time you visit. We don't spend money on big posters or radio ads. The sign outside is a bit old, but it does the job. It’s a practical place to get a meal without any fuss. We are just part of the daily life here at Statue Junction. Nothing more, nothing less. We keep the tea hot and the rice ready for whoever walks through the door during the day. Sometimes we get a bit behind on the washing, but we catch up.
