Kashi Art Cafe

Kashi Art Cafe is situated on Burgher Street in Fort Kochi. We are part of the Indian Contemporary Art scene here, but we are also just a cafe where you can get a cup of coffee. Kochi is a place with a lot of history, and Burgher Street is right in the middle of it. We have a space where art is displayed, but we don't make a huge deal out of it. It is just there for people to look at while they eat or drink. The place has a very relaxed vibe, mostly because of the old building and the plants we have around. We aren't a big chain or anything. It’s just a small team of us working here in Fort Kochi. We get a lot of visitors from all over the world, but we still have our local regulars who come in every day. We don't follow any corporate scripts. If the coffee is good and the art is interesting, then we are happy. We spend a lot of time making sure the courtyard stays nice for our guests. It is a simple life here in Ernakulam. We open up, we serve our customers, and we talk about art sometimes. There is no pressure and no fancy marketing.
