Karar Restaurant

You can find Karar Restaurant in the Apple Tower, right on the NH Bye Pass in Palarivattom. We are located near the Signal Junction in Edapally, which is a very busy part of Ernakulam. Because of the location, we get a lot of people who are traveling on the highway and need a place to stop and eat. The restaurant isn't very old, but we’ve tried to make it a place where anyone feels welcome. We serve a variety of dishes, and the kitchen is always moving. In the evenings, the lights from the highway traffic shine through the windows. It’s a bit of a landmark for people driving through Kochi. We don't have a fancy story about why we started; we just saw a good spot and decided to open a kitchen. The staff here are mostly local guys who know the area well. We try to keep the atmosphere relaxed, even though the junction outside is usually jammed with cars. We don't do much in the way of promotion. Usually, people just see the sign from the road and pull over. We make sure the food is ready and the tables are wiped down. It’s a simple way to run a business. We stay open late enough for the night travelers, too. It’s just a straightforward restaurant where you can get a meal and a drink without any complications. Being at Apple Tower makes us easy to spot.
