Kannimanga Restaurant

Our restaurant is tucked into the Verk Building in Palarivattom. It’s a handy location since it is right near S L Plaza. Ernakulam is always moving fast, so we wanted a place where you can just sit and eat without much fuss. We prepare everything in the back every day. It’s a small team here, mostly family and a couple of helpers who have been with us for years. The menu isn’t massive, but we make sure the staples are there. Sometimes the traffic outside on the main road is a bit much, but once you step inside, it’s just the smell of the food. We use a lot of local spices because that’s what we grew up with. It is not a place for a fancy date, but it works for a quick lunch or a dinner after work. We try to keep the floors clean and the water jugs filled up. That is really the main thing. Dealing with the daily rush keeps us on our toes. We don’t spend much time on the internet or anything, we’re usually just behind the counter or in the kitchen. If you are in the neighborhood and need a meal, we are right here. Palarivattom has changed a lot, but we are still in the same spot. We hope people feel comfortable when they come in. It is just a local business trying to keep going day by day.
