Hello Kids

We are over here at No.81 on Shobha Road in Palarivattom. Most people in Ernakulam know this area can get pretty busy, but our spot is tucked in just enough. Every morning starts about the same way. The gates open and we get things ready before the first cars pull up. It's mostly just a lot of small chairs and colorful walls around here. We spend a good chunk of the day just keeping track of everyone and making sure things don't get too messy. Sometimes the rain makes it a bit of a challenge to get the kids inside quickly, but we manage. You’ll see the sign for Hello Kids right as you turn off the main road. It’s a simple setup. We don’t have fancy elevators or anything like that. Just rooms where the children spend their hours. Most of us who work here live nearby, so we walk or take a short rickshaw ride. It feels like a normal part of the neighborhood. We see the same parents every day and know which kids are going to be fussy about their lunch. There isn't much to say other than we are here and we do the work. The fans stay on all day because of the heat. We keep the water coolers filled. It’s just how things go. If you are looking for us, look for the gate on Shobha Road. We’ve been at this address for a while now. It's nothing fancy, just a local place for the kids.
