Fish N Chips

Our place is located at No.1/954 on Cochi Road, right on the way to Fort Road in Ernakulam. We are directly across from the Basilica Church, so it’s a very easy landmark to find. We decided to open a Fish N Chips shop because it’s a classic and people here seem to enjoy it. We aren't trying to be fancy or gourmet. We just want to make a good plate of fried fish and potatoes. The shop is small and we do a lot of takeaway business. There are a few tables if you want to sit down, but it’s mostly a casual vibe. We get the fish from the local harbor every morning. You can really taste the difference when it’s fresh. We don't have a big corporate office or a marketing team. It’s just us working the fryers and serving the customers. Sometimes the shop gets a bit oily-smelling, but that’s part of the charm of a chippy. We get a lot of tourists coming from the church and locals who live in the Fort Kochi area. We keep our prices as low as we can. It’s a simple business model. We hope you enjoy the food when you stop by. It’s a bit of a walk from some parts of town, but it's a nice route. Fort Road is interesting because of the history. Looking out at the Basilica Church is a good view. We like the neighborhood and the people are kind.
