We are located in Valavanadu, near the Kalavoor post office. Our specific spot is known as Cocodale, and we are part of the M O Ward. The mill is a busy place, especially in the mornings when everyone arrives to start their shifts. We have been operating here for a long time. The sound of the machinery is constant, and you get used to it after a while. We process different materials, and there is always a lot of movement in the yard. Trucks come in and out, and there are stacks of goods waiting to be moved. Our office is just a simple room with a couple of fans and some old wooden desks. It is where we keep the books and talk to the drivers. We don't have any fancy decorations or a reception area. If someone comes to see us, they usually just walk right into the main work area. The people who work here are mostly from the surrounding villages. We have known many of them for years. The work can be tiring, but it is steady. We don't try to be anything we are not. We are just a mill doing our job in this corner of Kalavoor. Sometimes things get a bit disorganized when we have a big shipment, but we eventually get it sorted out. It is a straightforward way of life and we just keep the machines turning every single day.
