Volcano Restaurant

Volcano Restaurant is part of the Viceroy Inn Hotel at 391/1, Sahranpur Road. We are situated in the Niranjan Pur area of Dehradun, 248171. A good way to find us is to look for the Sabji Mandi; we are right opposite that. The vegetable market is a very busy place, especially early in the mornings. You see trucks and people everywhere. Our restaurant is a bit more tucked away since it's inside the hotel. We serve the guests who are staying at the Viceroy Inn and also locals who come in from the street. Sahranpur Road is a main path, so there is always traffic going by. We are just a small team here. We don't have a big marketing team writing things for us. We just focus on the kitchen and the tables. Some days are slow and we just wait for the dinner rush. Other days, when the hotel is full, we are running around quite a bit. It’s a practical business. We keep the place clean and the food hot. Being across from the Sabji Mandi means we see the real, busy side of Dehradun every day. It’s a good spot for a restaurant. We’ve been here for a while and just keep doing what we do. It’s not fancy, but it works for us and the people who visit.
