Aman Bhojnalaya

Aman Bhojnalaya is tucked away in Paltan Bazar, right near Darshani Gate in Dehradun. We are quite close to the railway station and the Gurudwara, so the area is always buzzing with people. If you’ve ever walked through Paltan Bazar, you know how crowded it can get with all the shoppers and travelers. We opened this bhojnalaya to give people a place to sit and eat simple food without spending too much. It’s a modest space with basic wooden tables and a kitchen that’s almost always got something cooking on the stove. We don’t have a big menu, just the things we know how to make best. The staff is mostly family and a few helpers who have been with us for years. We aren’t trying to be a fancy restaurant. It’s just a place for a quick, filling meal. The sounds of the market and the temple nearby are always in the background. Sometimes the power goes out or the street gets too packed to move, but we just keep going. It’s a very local spot. We see a lot of travelers coming from the station who just want a hot plate of food. We’ve been at 14 Dehradun City for a long time and we like being part of the history of Darshani Gate. It's just a regular place for regular people. We hope you don't mind the noise from the street outside while you eat your meal.
