Alcove Restaurant

Alcove Restaurant is located inside the Meedos Grand Hotel in Dehradun. Our address is 28 Rajpur Road, which is pretty much the main artery of the city. If you know Dehradun, you know how busy Rajpur Road stays throughout the day and into the night. We are right there in the middle of it. The restaurant is a place where we serve meals to both hotel guests and people coming in from outside. It’s got a decent atmosphere, not too loud but definitely not silent either. We have the usual tables and chairs setup you’d expect. The kitchen stays quite busy, especially during the lunch hour and then again in the evening. We focus on getting the food out on time and making sure people have a place to sit. Being part of Meedos Grand means we see a lot of travelers passing through. The 248001 area is very central, so it’s convenient for anyone staying in town for a few days. We don't have a massive menu, but we have enough to keep people coming back. The staff here are mostly local folks who know the area well. It’s a regular restaurant job for us, keeping the floors clean and the customers fed. We’ve been here at number 28 for a while, and it feels like home to most of the staff. It’s just a practical spot for a meal.
