Biggrin And Rukkbay is located at the 21 Milestone on Rajpur Road, right on the way from Dehradun toward Mussoorie. Since we are near Dip College, we get a lot of students coming in between their classes to hang out. The air up here is a bit cooler than down in the main city, which is nice when you are working over a stove all day. Our building is right on that main stretch where the road starts to twist and turn up the hill. It is a bit of a climb for some, but the views of the trees are good. We spend our mornings checking the supplies and making sure the tables are set for the lunch crowd. The place has a bit of an older feel to it, and we like it that way. We do not go in for any of that modern, polished look you see in the city malls. It is just a place with wooden chairs and a lot of steam coming out of the kitchen. Sometimes when the rain hits Dehradun, the noise on the roof is so loud you can hardly hear the customers, but everyone just laughs and eats anyway. We are just a small crew trying to keep things running smoothly. Whether it is a local student or a tourist heading up to the hills, we just give them a place to rest their legs for a while.
