Babli Restaurants

You can find us over in Transport Nagar, right near the Spanco BPO in Dehradun City. We share a bit of space near Usha Communication. Being in Transport Nagar means there are always trucks and drivers moving around, so it stays pretty loud outside most of the day. We get a mix of people coming in, from the guys working on the vehicles to the people from the offices nearby. The restaurant is not a big place but we have enough tables for the lunch rush. It gets hot in the afternoons but we have the fans going. We've been in this part of Dehradun for a bit now. It is a busy area and things are always happening on the street. We just focus on getting the food out to people who are usually in a hurry to get back to work. Sometimes we run out of things early if the crowd is bigger than we thought. That's just how it goes sometimes. We don't try to be anything special, just a place to sit and eat for a bit. The staff is mostly just local guys from the neighborhood. We open up early and stay until the evening when the traffic starts to die down. It’s a practical spot for anyone passing through the city. We keep the floor swept and the water jugs filled for whoever walks in.
