Blackpepper Restaurant

We are located at number 3, Astley Hall, right on Rajpur Road in Dehradun. Our restaurant, Blackpepper Restaurant, takes up the first and second floors of the building. This is a very old part of the city, and Ashley Hall is a landmark most people know. We’ve been here for a long time. Dehradun has changed a lot around us, with more malls and new shops, but Rajpur Road still feels like the heart of it. We have a lot of stairs, since we are on the upper floors, but it gives a nice view of the street below. The building has some character to it because it isn't brand new. We don't have a corporate office or a marketing department. It’s just the staff and the owners working every day. We serve food to locals and tourists who wander up from the main road. The atmosphere is just what we’ve built over the years. It isn't meant to be a high-fashion place. It's just a restaurant where you can sit down. We spend our time checking the kitchen and making sure the customers are okay. Sometimes the traffic on Rajpur Road makes it hard to park, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We like being in such a central spot. If you’re walking near Astley Hall, you can’t really miss us. We’re just upstairs waiting for the next person to walk in.
