V Desi Lounge

V Desi Lounge is located at 49/2, Chakrata Road in Dehradun City. Our spot is right in the New Connaught Place area, which is a place many people visit when they are out and about in the 248001 zip code. We have a simple setup here on the road. It’s a casual place where we spend most of our hours. Chakrata Road is usually moving with traffic and people, so there is always something to look at out the window. We started this place because we wanted a spot in the city where people could just come and hang out. It isn't a very formal place; we keep things pretty relaxed. The daily routine is mostly about checking the stock and getting the lounge ready for whoever walks in. Being in New Connaught Place means we get a mix of locals and people just visiting Dehradun. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It is just us running the floor and making sure things are okay. Sometimes the weather in Dehradun gets a bit rainy, and that’s when the lounge feels the most comfortable. We’ve been here at 49/2 for a bit now and we are part of the daily life on this street. It’s a lot of work to keep a lounge going, but we just take it one day at a time. If you’re walking near Chakrata Road, you’ll find us easily.
