Tirupati Restaurant

Tirupati Restaurant is a place we’ve been running on Rajpur Road in Dehradun for a while. We are situated right across from Saint Joseph Academy, which is a big landmark that everyone knows. The 248001 area is usually pretty active, so there’s always people walking by. Our restaurant isn't anything too complicated. We have our tables set up and we cook what we know. We don't have a mission statement or any corporate talk. We just open up in the morning and start the day’s work. Dehradun is a nice place to be, and Rajpur Road is one of the main spots, so we see all kinds of people, from students to folks working nearby. It gets a bit noisy with the traffic outside, but you get used to it. We do the cleaning and the cooking ourselves most of the time. Sometimes the kitchen gets a bit hot and the orders pile up, but we just work through it as fast as we can. It’s a local business and we don't try to make it sound like more than it is. Most of our customers are people who live in the neighborhood or are just passing through and need a bite to eat. We’ve been at this same address for years and we know the street pretty well. It’s just a simple, everyday kind of place to eat.
