Thirteen Gaon Restaurant

Being located on Sahastradhara Road in Dehradun puts us in a spot that sees a lot of different people. We are quite close to the IT Park, so we get plenty of workers coming in during their breaks or after they finish for the day. Dehradun has a certain pace to it, and we try to keep up with that here at Thirteen Gaon Restaurant. The kitchen stays pretty warm most of the afternoon while we prepare everything. It is a lot of manual work, chopping vegetables and making sure the tables are wiped down properly before the next group arrives. We do not have a massive staff, just enough people to handle the lunch rush and the evening crowd. Sometimes things get a little chaotic when everyone arrives at once, but we just do what we can. The view of the city around here is nice, especially when the weather is clear. We have been in this spot for a bit now, and the neighbors on Sahastradhara Road are mostly familiar faces. It is just a regular restaurant where we focus on getting the food out to the tables without too much fuss. We spend our mornings setting things up and our nights cleaning everything for the next day. It is honest work, and it keeps us busy from start to finish. We like being near the IT Park area because there is always something happening outside in this part of town.
