The White house

We are located up in Mussoorie at a place called The White house. You can find us in Barlowganj, which is quite close to St Georges College and the JP Residency Manor. It is a bit away from the main noise of the town, which most people seem to like. The air is always a little crisp up here and you get a nice breeze through the trees. We have been running this place for a while and it has that old-fashioned feel to it. It is an older house, so there is always something that needs fixing or painting, especially after the rainy season hits the hills. We spend a lot of time just keeping the place up. Most of the people who stay with us are parents visiting their kids at the school or just folks looking for a quiet corner to sit and read. The walk up to the house can be a bit of a climb if you are not used to the altitude. We keep the rooms simple with just the basics like warm blankets and a few chairs. In the mornings, you can hear the birds and sometimes the kids from the college practicing sports. It is a very normal, quiet life for us up here. We don't have any big fancy signs, just the house sitting among the trees. It feels more like a home than anything else, which is fine by us. There is always tea on the stove if you need it.
