The Mushq

The Mushq is located right on 43 Gandhi Road here in Dehradun. It’s a spot we put a lot of time into. Living in Dehradun City is pretty good, and having a business here keeps us busy. We mostly just focus on the daily tasks like making sure the floors are swept and the kitchen is prepped before the first person walks through the door. The address 248001 is easy to find if you know the area well. Sometimes traffic on Gandhi Road gets a bit much, which makes it hard for deliveries to get through on time, but we manage. My brother helps out with the books while I handle the front. We aren't trying to be some massive chain or anything. We just like having a local place. It’s mostly just us and a few staff members who have been with us since we opened up. We’ve had some long nights here, especially during the holidays when everyone is out and about. The building itself is old, so it has its quirks, like that one door that always squeaks no matter how much oil we put on it. We don't have a big fancy sign, just the name out front so people know where we are. It’s a simple setup. We serve what we can and try to make sure nobody leaves hungry. It’s just a normal day-to-day life for us here at the shop.
