The 3rd Milestone

Our place is part of The Heritage on Virbhadra Road. We are directly opposite the AIIMS building in Rishikesh, which makes it easy for people to find us. It’s a pretty busy road with a lot of ambulances and people going to the hospital. Inside, it feels a lot different from the noise outside. We have some old trees around the property that give a lot of shade during the summer months. The building itself has some character, with thick walls and high ceilings. We spend a lot of our day just keeping up with the maintenance of an older place. There is always a leaky tap or a door that needs oiling. We get a lot of families and people who are visiting patients across the street. It’s not a fancy setup. We have wooden tables and chairs that have seen a lot of use. The kitchen is tucked away in the back and stays busy from morning until late at night. We don't have a huge staff, just a few local people who know how things work here. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow because of the location, but most people don't seem to mind. We just focus on getting the food out on time. The view of the hills in the distance is nice when the weather is clear. We keep things moving and try to make sure everyone has a place to sit during the busy dinner hours.
