Sundar Sweets and Restaurant

Down on Neshville Road in Dehradun City, that’s where we are. Sundar Sweets and Restaurant has been part of this street for a good bit now. 248001 is the pin code if you’re looking it up. We make sweets in the morning and then the restaurant side gets busy around lunch. It’s a lot of work. The kitchen gets hot, especially during the summer months. We have a few tables where people can sit down. It’s not a large space. Sometimes it gets crowded and people have to wait a little. We don't mind. The regulars usually know when to come to avoid the rush. Dehradun is a nice place to live, even if the traffic on Neshville Road gets bad sometimes. We get a mix of students and families coming in. Some people just want a quick snack, others stay for a full meal. We use whatever ingredients are fresh at the market. Sometimes we run out of certain sweets by the afternoon. My brother helps out with the accounts and I mostly stay in the front. We don’t have a fancy menu with photos. It's just a board on the wall. It’s a bit old-fashioned, I guess. But it works for us and the people in the neighborhood. We just keep doing our thing every day. It's not always perfect, but we try our best to keep things running smooth.
