Siddhartha Restaurant

You can find us located inside the Siddhartha Residency Hotel. Our spot is right near the Dehradun Railway Station, specifically close to Darshini Gate. Being so close to the station means we see a lot of people coming and going at all hours of the day and night. Some folks are just getting off a long train ride and looking for a quiet place to sit for a bit, while others are just waiting for their next departure. The restaurant has been here for a while and it is a basic, honest place to get a meal. We don't have a big, fancy menu, just the regular things people like to eat when they are on the road. The morning shift is always the busiest for us with breakfast orders coming in. If it's quiet enough, you can actually hear the trains from the station. Our staff has been around for ages and they know how to handle the rush when it happens. It gets a bit dusty outside with all the construction and the traffic around the station, but inside it stays fairly calm. We don't spend much time on decorations or anything like that. Instead, we just focus on keeping the tables clean and getting the orders out on time. It’s a convenient spot for anyone staying in the hotel or just passing through the gate area. Sometimes the weather in Dehradun gets a bit chilly, and then everyone wants hot tea.
