My family has been running sanjay restrunten on Kanwali road for quite some time now. Dehradun City is where we belong. It gets pretty busy here especially during the afternoons when people come by for a quick bite. We aren't a big fancy place, just a small spot where you can sit down and eat. We open early in the morning to get things ready. It's a lot of work honestly. Sometimes the chairs are a bit old and the floor might have a few spots, but that's just how a busy local eatery is. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us doing everything from cooking to cleaning the tables. People know us by name here. It is nice seeing the same faces every day. The weather in Dehradun changes a lot, but we stay right here. If you are walking down Kanwali road, you'll see our sign. It's not a bright neon light or anything. We just focus on getting the food out on time. Sometimes we run out of things if the market is closed or if it rains too hard. That is just life in the city. We don't try to be anything we aren't. It's just a simple kitchen for hungry people who need a meal.
