Raga Lawns

We are located at 17 B, Rajpur Road, right in Dehradun City. If you stand at the main gate of Gandhi Park, you just have to look across the street to see us. Raga Lawns is basically a big open space with grass and trees. It’s 248001, so we are right in the middle of everything. Keeping the grass green in Dehradun takes some work, especially with the changing seasons. We spend a lot of time with hoses and lawnmowers. It’s an outdoor place, so we are always at the mercy of the weather. If it rains, we have to scramble. When it’s sunny, it’s beautiful but hot. We don’t have a fancy office; we usually just walk around the grounds. People come here for all sorts of reasons. We aren't trying to be the most luxurious place in the world. We just provide the space. Sometimes the traffic on Rajpur Road is really loud, but once you step inside the gates, the trees help a bit. It’s a lot of manual labor, picking up leaves and making sure the edges are trimmed. We’ve been here for a while and seen Dehradun grow up around us. It’s a simple business of maintaining a patch of green. We just show up, do the work, and hope the weather stays clear for whoever is using the lawn that day.
