Olympus High

Dehradun is a nice place, but Niranjanpur can get pretty busy during the day. Olympus High is situated right there in the Majra area. We have been operating here for some time now, and the local people mostly know who we are. The school isn't some massive corporate entity; it is just a place where kids from the neighborhood come to spend their day. Mornings are usually the busiest time because the narrow roads get filled with parents dropping off their children and the yellow buses trying to navigate the turns. The weather in Dehradun is usually pleasant, but when it rains, it really pours, and we have to deal with muddy patches on the grounds. Inside the building, it is quite standard. We have our classrooms, some boards, and desks that have seen a lot of use over the years. Our staff consists of people who live nearby, so there is a familiar feeling when you walk in. We don't have any fancy mission statements or marketing slogans posted on the walls. Mostly, we are just busy checking attendance, making sure the children have their books, and keeping the place from getting too chaotic. It’s a lot of work to keep a school running, from fixing a broken window to organizing the yearly functions. We just take it one day at a time and try to keep things moving along without too much trouble for anyone. It's a practical, local spot for education.
