Nan King Restaurant

Nan King Restaurant is located at 361/1 Ballupur Road in Dehradun City. We’ve been serving Chinese-style food here for quite some time now. Dehradun has a nice feel to it, a bit cooler than the plains, though it still gets plenty hot in the summer. Ballupur Road is a main stretch, so we see a lot of cars and people passing by every day. Our restaurant is a simple place where families and friends come to sit down for a meal. We have a kitchen staff that knows how to work the woks fast. It’s a lot of chopping vegetables and preparing sauces every morning. We don’t have any big corporate backing; it’s just us running the place day to day. We’ve seen the city grow and the traffic get heavier on Ballupur Road over the years. Some of our customers have been coming here since they were kids and now they bring their own children. We try to keep the atmosphere relaxed. The furniture is basic but comfortable. We deal with the usual things like power cuts or getting fresh supplies from the market. It’s a lot of work to keep a restaurant going, but we like being part of the Dehradun food scene. We’re just a local spot on the road where you can get a decent meal without any fuss. It’s not about being fancy, just about keeping the kitchen going and the customers fed. That’s what we do here. It's a living, and we enjoy it.
