Melt Restaurant

You can find us inside Hotel Saffron Leaf over on GMS Road in Dehradun. We are tucked away in Shakti Enclave, which is a pretty well-known spot around the Kaonli Road area. Being near the Wadia Institute means we see a lot of people passing by Dehradun City every single day. The restaurant is part of the hotel, so we get a mix of folks staying upstairs and locals who just want to eat something. GMS Road can get really backed up with traffic during the rush hours, but once you get inside Shakti Enclave, it feels a bit more settled. We spend our mornings getting the kitchen ready and making sure everything is in place for the lunch crowd. It is a lot of chopping, cleaning, and checking supplies. We don't try to be anything we aren't; we just run the kitchen and serve the tables. Dehradun has a certain pace to it, and we just follow along with that. Sometimes things get hectic when there is a big group, but we just do our best to keep up. It is honest work, and we have been doing it here for a bit now. If you are coming from Kaonli Road, it is a straight shot. We are just a local team working in a hotel restaurant, keeping things simple and real. The views of the hills nearby are nice, but mostly we are just looking at the pots and pans.
