MAYUREE Restaurant

Our restaurant, MAYUREE, is located on Rajpur Road in Dehradun. We are right in the Dilharam Bazar area, which is a nice part of the city to be in. We get a good mix of local people who live nearby and tourists who are just passing through. The building we are in is a bit on the older side, and we have done our best to keep it looking decent and clean over the years. It is a family-run business, so you will usually see one of us sitting behind the counter or checking on things in the kitchen. We don't have any big mission statements or corporate goals. We just show up every morning, open the shutters, and start the day's work. The kitchen can get pretty busy and chaotic, especially when it is raining outside and everyone wants to come in at the same time. We use vegetables from the local market and try to keep our prices at a level that is fair for the people who live here. Sometimes we run out of certain dishes if the delivery truck is late, and we just have to tell the customers we are sorry. That is just how things go in a small business. We don't have a massive staff, just a few people who help us with the serving and the cleaning up. It is a lot of sweeping to keep the dust out, but we like it when it’s busy. We just want to be a reliable spot.
