Just Mughlai

You can find us over at Victory Point, which is right on Chakrata Road in Dehradun. The city can get pretty busy with traffic, especially near Ballupur Chowk, so we are glad to be tucked in here where it is a bit more manageable. Just Mughlai is where we spend all our time. It is a local place, nothing too grand, just a kitchen and some tables for people who like this kind of food. We started this because we liked the flavors and wanted to share them with our neighborhood. Usually, the smell of the spices hits you before you even walk through the front door. It is a bit of a messy job sometimes, getting the coal and the ovens ready every single day, but that is just part of our routine. We do not use any big words to describe ourselves. We just show up, cook the food, and hope people enjoy their meal. The staff here has been around for a long time, so we all know each other well. Sometimes it gets a bit loud in the kitchen when we are busy, but we manage to get things done. If you are heading towards the city or coming from the chowk, we are a convenient stop. It is not a corporate chain or anything like that, just us running a small shop in Dehradun. We try to keep the place tidy, though it gets a lot of foot traffic. That is basically our story.
