J.G.B Purple Dhaba

Our place, J.G.B Purple Dhaba, is right on Laxmanjhula Road in Rishikesh. If you know this area, you know how it gets with all the travelers and the hills nearby. It’s a simple dhaba, nothing like those big hotels you see in the city. We have been here for a bit now, watching the crowds change with the seasons. Most days start early when we get the stove going. The air in Rishikesh is usually nice, but the road gets dusty with all the traffic heading towards the bridge. People stop by when they are hungry for a regular meal that doesn't cost a fortune. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us making sure the plates are clean and the food is hot. It’s a basic spot with a roof over your head and a place to sit down. We don't really do anything fancy with the menu or the lights. It is just a dhaba on the side of the road where you can get a bite. Sometimes we sit outside when it’s quiet and just watch the bikes go past. The address is easy to find if you are already on Laxmanjhula Road. We mostly deal with walk-ins and people who live around here. It gets a bit noisy sometimes but that is just part of being in this part of town. We keep things moving and make sure everyone has a place to sit and eat their food while it is still nice and warm.
