Jassi Restaurant

Jassi Restaurant is right here in J. N. Plaza on Haridwar Road. We are in the middle of Dehradun City, very close to Prince Chowk. If you know where Chappan Bhog Sweets is located, we are just across the street from them. It is a very busy spot with lots of cars and people moving around all the time. We have been at this location for a while now. The restaurant is not huge, but it is enough space for what we do. We serve the kind of food we grew up eating at home. Nothing fancy, just normal meals for everyday people. I am usually behind the counter or checking on things in the kitchen. It is a lot of work keeping things running in such a crowded part of town. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to go out back and mess with the generator, which is always a pain. But we get by. We get a lot of people who are just traveling through the city or people who work in the nearby shops. It is nice to see the same faces every day. We do not have a big website or a social media person. We just focus on what is happening inside these walls. The menu is usually just written on a board. We try to keep the floors clean and the food served hot. It is not a chain, just a local place. (249 words)
