Jahir Veg & Nonveg

Our place, Jahir Veg & Nonveg, is located on Gandhi Road in Dehradun City. We are right in the heart of the city where there is always a lot of traffic and people walking by. We serve both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food to the local crowd. It is not a very big shop, but we have enough space for people to sit down and eat their lunch or dinner. Many of our customers are people who work in the nearby offices or shops and they come to us for a quick meal during their break. We try to keep the kitchen moving so people don't have to wait too long. We don't have any corporate training or fancy uniforms here. We are just regular people who know how to cook and we do it every day. The menu is quite simple and we focus on dishes that people around here like to eat regularly. Gandhi Road can be quite noisy with all the horns and the market bustle, but we are used to it by now. We spend a lot of our time making sure we have fresh supplies and that the kitchen is kept clean. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just open the doors in the morning and stay until the food runs out or it is time to close. It is a practical business for the local community and we stay busy.
