Scoop & Ice Cream

You can find us at 5-21 on Madhavaram High Road in Perambur. This area around Bunder Garden stays pretty active, so we get a good mix of people coming through. We have been serving scoops here for a while now. It is a straightforward setup with a couple of big freezers and a counter where we do all the work. We don’t go in for anything flashy or trendy. We just make sure we have enough cones and spoons for the day. Sometimes the delivery truck comes late, and we have to move fast to get everything put away before it melts. That’s probably the most stressful part of the job. Otherwise, it is just about being here when people want a cold treat. We have some regulars who live nearby and come in like clockwork. The lighting in the shop could be a bit brighter, but it works for what we need. We spend a lot of time wiping down the glass so people can see what we have in stock. It gets a bit loud when the school nearby lets out, and the shop fills up with noise and energy. We like being part of the neighborhood like this. It isn’t a corporate chain or anything, just a local spot where you can get a decent scoop without any trouble or waiting around too long. We just take it one day at a time and try to keep the freezer full.
