Rajasthan Ice Cream

At number 635 on the 1st Main Road in Kakkan Nagar, you’ll find our little ice cream spot. Adambakkam can get pretty busy, especially in the evenings when everyone is coming home from work. Our shop is just a small spot on the street. We’ve been serving ice cream from this location for a while now. The building is older, and the ceiling fan wobbles a bit when it's on high speed, but it keeps the air moving. We don't have a big corporate team or fancy uniforms. It’s usually just me or one of the boys from the family behind the counter. We spend a lot of time just watching the traffic go by on the main road. The evenings are the busiest time because everyone is out for a stroll after dinner. We have to be quick with the scoops then, or the line starts going out the door and into the street. The floor gets a bit sticky by the end of the night, no matter how many times we mop it. It’s just part of the job when you’re dealing with kids and melting cones. We don't have a mission statement or any of that talk. We just sell ice cream to the people who live in the area. It’s a straightforward business. We keep the flavors that people ask for and try to keep the power bill from getting too high. That's about all there is to it. We hope the freezer stays cold all through the night.
