Ogmo Foods

We are located on 3rd Street in Krishna Nagar, over in the Virugambakkam area. It’s a quiet enough street compared to the main roads, which we like. Our building is number 52, and it’s where we spend most of our waking hours. We handle a lot of food products here, mostly just packing and making sure things are clean. The space is a bit tight when a big shipment arrives, but we manage by moving things around. There’s a small tree out front that gives some shade in the morning. We don’t have a big corporate team; it’s just a few of us doing the heavy lifting and the paperwork. Most of our days are spent checking labels and talking to suppliers on the phone. The air conditioner in the main room makes a bit of a rattling noise, but it keeps us cool enough. We try to keep things simple and honest. If a bag tears, we fix it or set it aside. We don't have fancy brochures or a big marketing plan. People find us because they need what we have. It’s a practical way to run a business. We usually eat lunch together in the small break area. It’s nice to have a place where you know everyone you work with. The neighbors are friendly, and we sometimes share a snack when work slows down. It is a good way to earn a living without stress.
