Creme Glacee Ice Creams

Creme Glacee Ice Creams is over at 224, Ponnambalam Salai in K K Nagar. It is a busy street with lots of houses and other small family shops all around us. We have been at this specific location for a long while. It is not a corporate chain or anything like that. It is just a small business. My father was the one who started it, and now I handle all the daily work. We spend a lot of our time making sure the freezers are working properly because the Chennai heat is very strong in the middle of the day. If the power goes out, we have to move very fast to save the stock. K K Nagar is a nice area, and the people are quite friendly here. We see the same faces every single week. Some people come in after their dinner for a short walk and stop by for a treat. We do not have a lot of space inside, just enough for the counters and a few people to stand comfortably. I think people like the fact that it is just a local spot. We do not do any fancy marketing or post things on social media. We just put the sign out front and open the doors every morning. It is hard work, especially the cleaning part. Sticky floors are probably the worst part of this job. But we keep it as clean as we can. It is a simple life for us.
