Amar Ice Cream

I have been running Amar Ice Cream for a few years now in the Chinmaya Nagar area. It is located in Virugambakkam, which is a pretty busy part of the city. We are not a large company with a lot of staff. Most of the time, it is just me or maybe one of my cousins helping out behind the counter. The shop is small and we don't have much space for sitting down, so most people just grab their ice cream and walk around the neighborhood. Chinmaya Nagar is a quiet enough place during the day, but it gets more active in the evenings. We get a lot of families who come by after they have had their dinner at home. It is a simple life, honestly. I spend a lot of my time making sure the freezers stay at the right temperature because the heat in Virugambakkam can be really tough on the equipment. We don't do any big advertisements or anything like that. People just know where we are and they come in when they want something cold. The floor is a bit old and the paint on the walls is starting to peel in some spots, but it doesn't bother anyone. We just focus on serving the ice cream and being friendly to the regulars. It is a local business and we like it that way.
