Indian Weavology

If you come down to B-253 in Mohan Garden, you will find us at Indian Weavology. We are over in Uttam Nagar East. The area is pretty packed with houses and small shops. Our place is not very big, but we make it work for what we do. It’s a bit of a maze getting here if you don’t know the streets well. We spend the day going through orders and checking on the weaving details. Sometimes the neighbors’ kids are playing out front and it gets a bit noisy. We like being in this part of town because it feels real. We aren't in some glass building in the city center. It’s just a regular building where we handle our business. The office has piles of papers and folders everywhere. We try to keep things organized but it doesn't always stay that way. People walk in and out all day. We drink a lot of chai and talk about the work. Being in Uttam Nagar means there is always life happening outside the door. We started small here and we are still here. It’s a simple setup. We don't use big words or have fancy meetings. We just look at the work in front of us and try to finish it by evening. That’s just the way it goes at Mohan Garden.
