Anamika Fabs

Anamika Fabs is a small place located at No. 125 Friend Enclave, which is just off Sultanpuri Road. The area is very crowded and there’s always something happening right outside our door. We don't have much space, so the rolls of fabric are often stacked right up to the ceiling. It can be a bit of a squeeze when we have a lot of work going on. The lighting is a bit dim in some corners, but we have our workspaces set up as best we can. Most of us who work here have lived in this part of the city for a long time. It’s a neighborhood where everyone knows each other. We don't have any big marketing plans or a polished image. We just focus on the fabric. The machines are a bit old and they make a lot of noise, but they still get the job done. We don't have a human resources department or a big office. If there’s a problem, we just talk it out over a cup of tea. It’s a very hands-on type of work. We get dust on our clothes and ink on our hands, but that’s just part of it. When the day is over, we tidy up the best we can and head home through the busy streets of Sultanpuri. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s our daily reality and we just get on with it.
