Anand Fabtex Delhi

Anand Fabtex Delhi is located on the second floor of Riviera Apartment. It’s quite close to the Delhi University Metro Station, so we hear the trains and the crowds of students all day long. Being on the second floor means we’re carrying bags of fabric up and down the stairs quite a bit, which keeps us fit, I guess. The space isn't huge. It’s an apartment that we’ve turned into a workspace. We have stacks of textiles piled up in the corners and a couple of tables where we do the cutting and checking. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes when we get a large shipment in. The air in here usually smells like new cloth and a bit of floor cleaner. We have a small balcony where we take breaks and watch the traffic below. It’s mostly just a few of us handling the orders and talking to people on the phone. We don't have any big signs or flashy displays. People find us because they need fabric and they know we’re here in N-11. Delhi gets really hot, so the fans are always spinning, trying to keep the place cool enough to work. We spend a lot of time sorting through different textures and colors. It’s steady work, and we like being near the university area because there’s always life around. We just keep our heads down, manage the stock, and make sure things get sent out to the right places on time without too much trouble.
