Basant Knit Fab

Our small unit is located at G D-39 in Pitam Pura. We focus on knitting and making different kinds of fabric here. Pitam Pura is a busy residential and commercial area, so our space isn't huge, but we make the most of what we have. Inside, you will see several knitting machines going at once, which makes a rhythmic clicking sound all day long. We started out small and we’ve stayed that way, which lets us keep a close eye on everything that goes out. We don’t have a big corporate board or anything like that. It’s mostly just a few of us making sure the needles are sharp and the yarn is feeding through correctly. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a specific order for a customer who is in a hurry. We don't mind it much. The work is straightforward, and we like the feeling of seeing a finished roll of fabric at the end of the day. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to provide fabric that people can actually use for their own needs. It can get a bit cluttered with boxes and scrap material, but we try to keep it organized enough to work. If you're ever in the neighborhood, you’ll probably hear the machines before you see the sign. It’s just how we run things.
