Haryana Textiles Corporation is tucked away at X3306 Raghubarpura No 2, right in Gali No 2 of the Gandhi Nagar area. Anyone who has been to Gandhi Nagar knows how the lanes are. It is a maze of shops and narrow paths, but Gali No 2 is where we have made our home. Our spot at X3306 is always buzzing with activity. There is hardly a moment when someone isn't moving a bale of cloth or checking an invoice. We have been here in Raghubarpura for a long time, and we have seen the market change quite a bit. Despite the changes, our daily routine stays mostly the same. We open up early, get the tea going, and start sorting through the textiles. It is a lot of hard work and being on your feet, but that is the nature of the textile business in this part of town. The space is filled with the smell of new fabric and the sound of people bargaining in the street outside. We don't have a lot of room for fluff or fancy talk.
